I have just eaten my first Creme Egg of the year.

Oh, happy day!

Maybe I'll allow myself one this week - but just one and no other chocolate!!

you are bad, just bad. As a direct result of your creme egg feast and our mission failure to intercept the egg, the 'BT' army have gone to get their own choccie supplies, and there will be none for you young lady so there!

I hang my head in shame and disappointment!

However, I do now have a lovely cup of coffee, so it is not all bad.

And I just saw a huge, bright, lovely rainbow out of my window!

Actually, I like to play a little game with myself, in which I win points for the earliest spotting of premature seasonal consumables in shops. Two years ago, I saw Creme Eggs for sale on New Year's Day, but this year I was pleased to beat this record when I saw them for sale on New Year's Eve (although I resisted buying one on that occasion).

Teresita asked us if we wanted anything from the shop and I asked her to get me a creme egg. She got me mini eggs! She's from Columbia and not very well up on sweets and choc over here so must have just presumed I meant mini eggs cos they were the first egg things she saw. I don't fancy mini eggs enough to break my diet for them!

Oh no! I feel your pain.

Still, in your position I would eat the Mini Eggs anyway!

Argh! I saw my first Easter egg in the shops this morning, and it was a bit of a 'for God's sake' moment. Xmas ends, then Easter rolls in, then before you know, the pumpkins and the fireworks are on sale and tinsel all over again and... just 'Argh!' ^_~ I think the human race spends so much time preparing for the future that it forgets to live sometimes.

Right, I point blank refuse to have sort of chocolate egg until my school lets my off for Easter!
Eggs at New Year, indeed!

Quite right, too!

How do you eat your's?
Jan. 11th, 2005 05:06 pm (UTC)
Since you ask, I warm it either between my hands (if in public) or in more intimate places if no-one can see me, until both the chocolate outside and the fondant inside are gooey and melting into one another. Then I bite the top off and half-lick, half-suck the inside out, while it folds into a sticky mess in my hand. All of this is why it is quite such an orgasmic experience by the time I actually get to eat it.

As I say, you did ask!

If I'd known there'd be posts like that, I wouldn't read LJ on my work machine!

Ooh, my, I am causing trouble today, aren't I?

And all this over a simple, innocent thing like a Creme Egg!

Yay, someone who loves creme eggs as much as me! I had to resist the urge to buy my first one today because I'd already had chips and sausage for lunch and didn't want to go overboard on the fat content :)
